The way you feel about writing and your time leading to writing is all the difference in how you end up writing.
I recently finished Ali Abdaal’s new book Feel Good Productivity, in it he talks about productivity through the lens of our attitude towards work.
Find a Job You Love and You’ll Never Work A Day in Your Life
The way we feel about your work determines the likelihood that you’ll repeat the activity.
If every time you sit down to write it’s like pulling teeth out of your head, of course, you won’t want to write.
If you are not motivated to write the way you write isn’t right for you.
To cure this you need to create a different experience when writing.
Add something you enjoy to your writing routine.
Change How You Feel
It’s simple really, change it up.
Move to a new coffee shop to write.
Use cinematic music to get hyped.
Write with others.
If what you’re doing doesn’t work for you, it doesn’t work for you.
It’s as simple as that.
Change how you approach writing and your words will flow effortlessly.
In Conclusion . . .
The way you feel about your writing is the key to always wanting to write.
Make it fun and the words will come.
Happy Writing 🙂
